Instrumental music based on hip-hop beats, numeric errors, analog parasites and cinematic programming, DEL WIRE evolves in an urban and electronic world. An obvious tension emerges from each track, an urgency to give life to their vision of the modern world. Cinematic inspirations and hip-hop influences coexist and integrate with an amazing result. Artificiel aka Cisco (DJ/producer)
He helped pioneer the Toulouse (located in South-Western France) electronic music scene, organized the first Toulouse Ninja tunes (DJ Food, Herbaliser'85) and Metalheads parties in 1996, and is the editor of the famous fanzine JUICED. From 1999 to 2001, he toured with renowned French musicians from the jazz scene (Eric Truffaz, Laurent de Wilde, Julien Loureau, Magic Malik). Since 2001, he runs a famous radio show out of Toulouse, which references electronic music. He has initiated many production projects, beginning with Blash Records (Entropie), Aljama Discs with Nonalinians (an instrumental reggae-jazz collective), and recently began his own record label, Musiques Modernes (compilation artificiel vol 1). FEDADEN
A self-made musician, which participated in numerous local projects throughout France, but whose reputation and talent will surely be revealed to a larger audience in the years to come on his solo carreer. Fedaden began with hip-hop and remixed for the well-known pop rock band Sweet Apple Pie. He regularly collaborated with Sam Rouanet (Canvas/Nacopajaz records) on Well Whatever, a live electro-techno band, and is currently acting as the sound architect on Kat Cross’ forthcoming album, which contains a track to be included on “The Back to Mine” a DMC mixed compilation by Tricky. He was also sound engineer for the Nonalinians’ album. He signs many tracks under the name Fedaden.

Immediately seductive, DEL WIRE possesses an aesthetic that is never ostentatious and a hallucinatory yet conscious sound that places it outside temporality. DEL WIRE calls to all the senses, demanding attentive listening to uncover all the details. The narrative and subtle arrangements of these little poetic electronic pieces fully reveal themselves only when the LP is considered as a whole. Ran for example, begins with a creepy sample and is soon joined by captivating strings arrangements, Zero is one of the most catchy tracks with cutting-voices over a hip-hop and lo-fi beat, and the lyrical Camino has a martial beat surrounded by strings and hypnotic sequences. De 1999 à 2001, avec Interface, il tourne avec les musiciens les plus en vue de la scène jazz nationale (Truffaz, Laurent de Wilde, Julien Loureau, Magic Malik, …) et dès 1995 sur Radio Campus Toulouse. Depuis 2001, son émission éponyme reste une référence dans les musiques électroniques d’écoute. Egalement instigateur de nombreuses productions notamment avec les labels Blash (Entropie), Aljama discs pour Nonalinians (reggae/jazz instrumental) et dernièrement avec son label Musiques Modernes (compilations Artificiel vol.1). FEDADEN
Autodidacte discret qui a été sollicité sur de nombreux projets locaux, mais dont la réputation et le talent vont certainement se révéler plus largement dans les années à venir. Fedaden a commencé dans le hip-hop, remixe Sweet Apple Pie, Bassement Division Project… Il collabore à Well Whatever, live electro-techno avec Sam (Canvas) et Dj Sheriz pour nombreuses dates en Espagne et dans le sud-ouest. Il est l’architecte sonore de l’album de Kat Cross (unreleased) dont un des morceaux figure sur une compilation réalisée par Tricky "Back To Mine". Il a aussi participé comme ingénieur du son et mixeur sur le projet Nonalinians et de nombreux titres sous le nom Fedaden figure sur la compil Artificiel.

Ce qui nous a immédiatement séduit chez DEL WIRE, c’est une esthétique qui n’est jamais ostentatoire, une musique hallucinée mais consciente, hors du temps. DEL WIRE fait appel aux sens : leur musique ne s’impose pas forcément à la première écoute (quoique). C’est par la narration et la finesse des arrangements que ces petites pièces électroniques poétiques se déroulent… La beauté de Ran par exemple, qui démarre sur une boucle surannée pour nous envoûter d’un tissu de nappes et de cordes, le sautillant Zero aux samples de voix déchiquetées sur fond de beats hip-hop lo-fi, le lyrique Camino à la rythmique implacable.

DEL WIRE fait d'hors et déjà partie des références en matière d'electronica. Hautement recommandé !
